the details
Natalie and Jake’s wedding celebrated their cultural heritage, with a blue and white color palette representing Jake’s Jewish roots and chinoiserie patterns and the Chinese double happiness symbol reflecting Natalie’s background. The invitations combined these elements and incorported their love of the mountains. The invitation card was blind-pressed with hand-drawn wildflowers, while the other cards & envelope liner featured a watercolor mountain landscape painting. Each piece was then wrapped together in vellum with a double happiness design and sealed with a custom monogram wax seal.
The wedding day items continued with this aesthetic but with a simpler, more modern style. The menus were designed to fit perfectly on each plate, with a custom wood-engraved place card placed on top to add warmth to the color palette. The escort wall showcased personalized chinoiserie-patterned accordion fans with guest’s table assignment on the back.
